The message will be processed by the person responsible for GDPR (data protection and privacy legislation in force in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, and the European and national regulations transposing it).

Principles – Purposes – Data Subjects – Categories of Personal Data

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example, by subscribing to our newsletter, filling out contact forms, and sending us an email.

We also collect data from your use of the website and its services when you visit web pages and fill out forms (please consult the cookie policy).

In principle, your personal data is only used to process your requests.

Campus Contern processes personal data in the context of transactions and agreements related to the Campus Contern site. Primarily, this involves professional personal data of Campus Contern’s clients or potential clients.

Processing is therefore carried out exclusively to offer services to clients and potential clients, execute concluded contracts, and manage client administration/accounting. Processing is thus limited to what is necessary for the execution of agreements and for the legitimate interests pursued by Campus Contern (including offering services to potential and interested clients).

Primarily, the personal data processed is very limited to what is necessary for Campus Contern to fulfill its contractual obligations, manage the site, and offer services to clients (contact person data at the client, professional email, and professional phone number). Campus Contern does not process sensitive data.

The data is centralized in Campus Contern’s CRM database.

Campus Contern does not use automated processes or profiling.

If you are a real estate professional, we send you our newsletter periodically.

If you are a tenant, your data will be used primarily to manage your file and the lease agreement and its execution, also by the property manager, and secondly to send you information about events, services on Campus Contern, and for satisfaction surveys.

It is also possible that personal data is verified before concluding a contract or processing a request as part of our “Client Acceptance” procedures.

Recipients of Personal Data – Sub-processors

Campus Contern may grant access to data to its employees and agents, but will limit this access to individuals who require it to fulfill Campus Contern’s obligations.

Campus Contern has a sub-processor who processes and uses personal data solely on behalf of Campus Contern and to fulfill “property management” obligations on the Campus Contern site and according to Campus Contern’s instructions.

There are other sub-processors as listed below, especially in the context of “cookies”.

Personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (namely the European Union, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and Norway), unless the country or organization(s) to which the personal data is transferred guarantees an adequate level of protection. However, the cookie policy should also be consulted, given the sub-processors involved.

Organizational and Technical Security Measures

Campus Contern has appropriate technical and organizational security measures necessary for the protection of personal data, including against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access. These measures are quite standard given the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing, as well as the risks of use and the probable impact on the freedoms and rights of data subjects in the event of a data breach.

Data Retention

Campus Contern stores and maintains personal data as long as necessary (a) due to limitation periods during which data subjects can assert their legal rights against our company (b) useful under business objectives and to inform and make offers to registered persons (c) to fulfill its obligations as owner on the Campus Contern site under current agreements and regulations and the professional relationship (d) thereafter passively based on legal obligations and the necessity that certain files containing personal data may still be consulted.

Rights of Data Subjects

Every data subject has the right to:

The right of access – the right to receive a copy of all personal data that Campus Contern holds about them.
The right to rectification of personal data collected by Campus Contern.
The right to request the erasure of personal data unless a legitimate reason justifies their retention.
The right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format to transmit them to another entity.
The right to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data, unless there are legitimate and compelling grounds for continuing the processing.
The right to claim a restriction of the processing of their data.

To exercise your rights, you can send an email to the aforementioned address (privacy@campuscontern.lu). We will respond within 30 days after verifying the identity of the person submitting a request concerning personal data to Campus Contern.
